This working group event, built from discussions started at the 2017 statewide workshop, provided a platform for peer-to-peer discussion about implementing law enforcement, prosecution, victim advocacy, research, and community engagement through state-level efforts. SMEs discussed recommended best practices to address these issues and viable protocols or policies that will enable sustainable reform. Other critical discussion topics included tracking and measuring progress towards SAKI goals and integrating research partners into SAKI partnerships.
