SD requested a speaker for the SD virtual training for rural advocates on October 21 at 10am CT for a 90 minute training.
Paige to discuss with Amy Durall to have her present the recent training given at the National Meeting with room for discussion and questions.
Amy and Paige confirmed that should would be able to provide the National Meeting Presentation "Building Sustainable Victim Services". The primary audience is going to be rural advocates who work in smaller shelters throughout South Dakota, other advocates who are part of the Coalition membership, and anyone who is involved in our SAKI grant.
Paige sent Raina a pdf of the Power Point and resources that Amy would be discussing in the Presentation.
Raina contacted Amy and Paige to confirm the details for the event that is the next day.
Amy Durall provided a presentation to the Statewide SD Advocacy Training on "Building Sustainable Victim Services". There were 60 people registered ahead of the event.
Raina reported that she found the content to be very helpful, and she could tell from the comments both in the chat box and was received through text and email that the content was perfect.
