• On December 9, 2022, the SLATT team delivered in-person elements of the DISRUPT training course to attendees of the Northeast Regional Intelligence Group (NRIG) annual conference, hosted in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The training consisted of a presentation titled Organized Violent Extremism at Protest Style Events, and a comprehensive overview of the SLATT Program, resources, and membership information for the secure slatt.org website. Approximately 150 local, county, state, and federal law enforcement personnel attended the NRIG conference and approximately 40 attended the SLATT breakout session. Of those attendees who provided an evaluation, 100% were satisfied with the course, responded that their knowledge increased, found the information useful and the instructors knowledgeable, and would recommend the course to others. One attendee commented that the course was “very applicable to our rural partners,” while others noted that the “take-aways from each presentation were spot on [regarding the] trajectory of DT networking.”
