On December 13, 2022, members of the SLATT team and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) delivered a webinar titled, Violent Extremism in the Digital Front, to criminal justice practitioners across the United States. The webinar focused on the lawful collection and analysis of social media and Internet-based communications to enhance law enforcements’ ability to detect, interdict, and prevent acts of terrorism and targeted violence. There were 401 confirmed registrants and 228 attendees at the webinar event. Of those attendees who provided an evaluation, 100 percent rated the webinar as good or excellent, with more than 95 percent responding that their knowledge increased and that the information provided met their expectations. Attendees commented that the webinar provided “great training; very knowledgeable instructors; and practical information and resources given what is happening in society today.” The webinar was posted on the secure SLATT website on December 19, 2022.
