The PDMP TTAC team routinely and consistently provides technical assistance to PDMP administrators and staff as well as other stakeholders in response to requests for information or to facilitate peer-to-peer communication. These activities help identify potential resources and TTA needs as PDMPs evolve, allowing the PDMP TTAC team to proactively develop and provide the most efficient and effective methods of delivery. During this reporting period, PDMP TTAC staff addressed 175 requests, covering diverse topics such as interstate data sharing, electronic health record integration, authorized PDMP users, comprehensive prescription drug tracking, PDMP reporting standards, Opioid Treatment Program policies, Overdose Fatality Review teams, the impact of telemedicine on PDMPs, and general PDMP policies and capabilities. The TTA was delivered in various formats, including conference calls, detailed emails, research documents, webinars, and virtual meetings.
Resources developed during the reporting period in support of PDMPs include the following:
