July 1-July 31, 2024, Monthly Activity; During this reporting period, there were approximately 3 emails and other announcements, that were sent out to the grantee. Included in the emails were resources regarding training announcements, and other relevant resources including webinar materials, and resources from webinars. Many of the resources were shared via constant contact.

Also sent was additional information on grant management. Many of the resources were shared via constant contact.
Grantee has expressed issues with grant management and needing more information or training. Grantee is still working on capacity building.

October 1-October 31, 2024, Monthly Activity; During this reporting period, there were approximately 5 direct emails sent, about, or received from grantee; and several other announcements were sent out to the grantee during this period. Included were webinar announcements and resources, other training announcements, and relevant resources that were sent via Constant Contact. During this period Work Plans were finalized for meetings with grantees. During this period, Chief Judge Lenzi, and Shannon Guerrero attended the NAICJA Conference. Chief Judge Lenzi also presented on two topics: Using Armed or Unarmed Bailiffs: How Your Court Can Adapt to the Future and Preserve Traditions While Ensuring Safety; and Merging Culture, Tradition and General Principles of Law. We were able to have some brief discussions while there.
They stated that they were still having issues with their budget being approved and are hoping it has been finalized. They will let us know, as they may have to ask for an extension of time due to this delay. They also indicated that this is why they have not reached out for T/TA as well. They have been working on what they can do that is not cost related to the grant. There is some concern with what they are trying to do with moving monies around in the budget however.
