The Rural Violent Crime Reduction Initiative (RVCRI) team is thrilled to announce the launch of the third application cohort of the RVCRI Grant Application! RVCRI, funded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance and supported by the National Policing Institute (NPI) and Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), provides grants and training and technical assistance (TTA) support to law enforcement agencies addressing violent crime challenges in rural areas. Awards will range from $25,000 - $150,000. Applications and awards will be made on a rolling cohort basis with the third cohort deadline being March 14, 2025. On February 13, 2025, at 12:00pm ET, the RVCRI team will host a funding webinar to discuss the RVCRI grant application process and requirements. This session will guide you through the RVCRI grant application process, offer strategies for success, and highlight resources available to support grant application development. During this event, the RVCRI team will provide guidance on:
1. The RVCRI program
2. RVCRI application process and requirements
3. RVCRI grantee duties (with insights from current RVCRI grantees!)
4. RVCRI Team contact information

By submitting this application to BJA NTTAC, I understand that upon approval of this application for TTA, the requestor agrees to keep BJA NTTAC informed of any circumstances that may impact the delivery of the TTA, including changes in the date of the event, event cancellation, or difficulties communicating with the assigned TTA provider.
