Starting on May 5, 2017, CCI staff conducted weekly meetings to plan and coordinate the Price of Justice All Sites training.
During and in-between weekly planning meetings, CCI staff worked together to develop All Sites training sessions and curricula that incorporate best practices in adult learning techniques.
CCI staff revised All Sites training sessions and curricula and submitted a revised draft agenda after the convening was moved from New York, New York to Washington, D.C.
CCI staff held a planning call with Joanna Weiss of the Fines and Fees Justice Center in preparation for a session focused on developing meaningful community service alternatives at the first Price of Justice All Sites convening.
CCI staff and co-facilitator Dr. Karin Martin of the University of Washington held a planning call with representatives from the five grantees sites in preparation for a panel presentation which focused on early implementation successes and challenges at the first Price of Justice All Sites convening.
CCI staff held a planning call with facilitator Dr. Mayowa Obasaju in preparation for a session exploring the greater impact of fines and fees on diverse communities at the first Price of Justice All Sites convening.
CCI staff held a planning call with Martha Wright, Supervising Analyst of the Judicial Council of California, and Judge Linda Coburn of Edmonds Municipal Court, in preparation for a session focused on online alternatives to fines and fees at the first Price of Justice All Sites convening.
CCI staff held a planning call with Rebecca Tublitz and Reagan Daly of ISLG in preparation for a session focused on collecting, vetting, and interpreting data at the first Price of Justice All Sites convening.
Following the first All Sites meeting, CCI staff collected and synthesized data from the participant satisfaction surveys in an excel spreadsheet. CCI staff shared this feedback with BJA and will consider it carefully when planning for the second All Sites meeting.
