The National Center for School Safety provides one-on-one technical assistance to STOP grantees. This one-on-one assistance was first offered in January 2021, and capacity was increased due to the addition of two Technical Assistance Specialists in April 2021. Intensive TA was provided to select agencies requiring more assistance. Oswego Community Unit School District 308 was one of these agencies. TA Specialists conducted 3 one-hour meetings via Zoom as well as email follow-up with them to assist with scope of work, budget, and implementation items.

The National Center for School Safety provides one-on-one technical assistance to STOP grantees. This one-on-one assistance was first offered in January 2021, and capacity was increased due to the addition of two Technical Assistance Specialists in April 2021. Intensive TA was provided to select agencies requiring more assistance. Illinois State Board of Education was one of these agencies. TA Specialists conducted 4 one-hour meetings via Zoom with them to assist with mental health evidence-based programming resources and work plan changes.

This one-on-one assistance was first offered in January 2021, and capacity was increased due to the addition of two Technical Assistance Specialists in April 2021. From January-June 2021, there were 309 one-on-one Technical Assistance Outreach instances via email and phone calls.

From January-June 2021, there were 32 one-hour One-on-one Technical Assistance Meetings via Zoom.

Information provided to the CA SAA office regarding Mental and Behavioral Health best practices across the nation. on 8/27/20 the CA SAA office reached out to seek assistance on Behavioral Health best practices and to learn what other SAA's across the county were doing in this space. NCJA outreached to our partners with NGA and NACo to for any best practices that they could pass along. Additionally NCJA did research on other SAA practices and nationwide trends. A memo was put together for the CA SAA and sent over on 9/11/20.
