Attend the ASCIA Annual Fall meeting to learn and discuss what the state’s Law enforcement agencies are needing as it pertains to training and resources.

N.C. Secretary of States Anti Counterfeits office requested training on issues surrounding the Dark Web. Prepared and presented a block on the Dark Web, that included TOR, Virtual Currency, Bitcoin, and investigative techniques relating to the Dark Web. Provided examples of counterfeit items, for sale, on onion service sites.

NW3C plans to send two staff to attend event and support BJA/NW3C booth presentation.

Featuring leading industry and educational leaders, the 2018 West Virginia Coding & Cyber Summit aims to highlight West Virginia’s efforts to develop a workforce ready to fill the thousands of available jobs in software coding and cybersecurity. This year’s event will place special emphasis on the cybersecurity sector and its workforce needs.

The Iowa County's Attorney Fall Training committee reached out to NW3C and asked if we could send a speaker to their event in Des Moines, Iowa November 11-13th, 2018. NW3C responded to present Digital Evidence Basics at their conference.

The National Association of Prosecutors Coordinators asked NW3C to participate in their Winter conference in Phoenix, AZ December 3-5, 2018. Presentation regarding BJA resources through NW3C.
