Establishing trusted multidisciplinary relationships can lead to significant progress in identifying, apprehending, and convicting labor traffickers while safeguarding the lives of victims and their families.
The Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI) Training and Technical Assistance team will host a webinar titled “Advanced Investigative Techniques for Cold Case Sexual Assaults” on Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. ET. The event will open at 1:45 p.m. ET.
This is the third in a 4-part webinar series on defining, implementing, and managing a cold case unit. Building off of the past two webinars, “What is a Cold Case and How They are Solved?” and “Forming a Cold Case Unit and Managing Expectations” seasoned investigator, Jason Moran will discuss cold case solvability and present different scientific techniques and tools that officers at all levels should be aware of and can apply to cold case investigations.
