12/3 - Recruitment meeting with Chief Stallman and Captain Chambers of Altoona Police Department which resulted in the department opting in. (2 people, representing 1 agency).
12/10 - presentation to the Yavapai County CJCC to introduce the project and encourage them to consider participating. (15 people, representing 15 agencies).
11/04: In-person presentation at the Minnesota CSAC meeting to present working group recommendations for case planning and a statewide behavior response grid, which will support improved supervision strategies for community supervision.

A presentation was provided to the Community Supervision Advisory Committee (CSAC) to introduce and explain key recommendations developed by the Risk and Needs Assessment (RNA) Working Group and the Justice Reinvestment Initiative (JRI) Phase II Working Group. The presentation included a review of the risk-need-responsivity (RNR) principles, risk and needs assessment recommendations, case planning recommendations, and behavior response grid recommendations.

Objective 2: Technology Development Technical Assistance
12/9/24: In-person meeting with Linde Hoffman (State Engagement Manager, Recidiviz), Sophie Pepin (Senior Data Analyst, Recidiviz), and Jonathan "Scott" Brinly (Parole Officer, TDCJ) to discuss their use of supervision level downgrade, early discharge and annual reporting to better structure Recidiviz's tool. (3 participants, representing 2 agencies)
8/20: CSG Justice Center staff observed a session on Domestic Violence (DV)/Batterers Intervention (BI) programming with Brad Newill (Program Facilitator, DV/BI). (1 participant, 1 agency)
8/20: CSG Justice Center staff conducted a focus group discussion with four Omaha CSS parole supervision officers, gathering feedback on field operations and parole supervision challenges. (4 participants, 1 agency)
8/7: CSG Justice Center staff met with Dr. Erin Harbinson, (Director, Criminal Justice Research Institute (CJRI), State of Hawaii Judiciary), Sam Choi, (Data Analyst, CJRI, State of Hawaii Judiciary), Aerielle Reynolds,(Data Analyst, CJRI, State of Hawaii Judiciary), Michelle Masters, (Data Analyst, CJRI, State of Hawaii Judiciary), and Mariah McCaskill, (Data Analyst, CJRI, State of Hawaii Judiciary), to discuss the first draft of Hawaii Paroling Authority data findings.
