Assistance from the PCE as to how to implement the identified changes to the workflow of the Sangamon County State’s Attorney’s office in an effort to better address the current backlog of cases, and prevent further disruption to the administration of justice.

The Bronx, New York District Attorney’s Office requested assistance to develop a policy plan. John Skinner and Beth McGarry were selected to fulfill the request and conducted a one-day onsite visit in September 2019 to facilitate a strategic planning session with agency stakeholders. The providers delivered a summary report to the Bronx DA’s office in October 2019.

The Office of the Bronx County, New York District Attorney's Office requested an analysis of their current system and create a strategic plan to modernize the Office while reducing violence and increasing public safety. Stakeholders would also like to develop policies related to charging and dispositions. This event occurred in BJA NTTAC Option Year 3.

A subject-matter expert will conduct a site visit to New Orleans to examine how feedback is provided to New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) about the decision making process, the quality of paperwork and cases, and the opportunities for training NOPD and attorneys.

The Bureau of Justice Assistance requested travel support for representatives from Public Safety Partnership (PSP) sites to attend the Intelligence Driven Prosecution: An Innovation Summit. BJA NTTAC provided travel support for 2 individuals from the Little Rock PSP site to attend the event from March 12 - 13, 2018 in New York, New York.

BJA NTTAC provided travel support for 1 individuals from the Newark PSP site to attend the event from March 12 - 13, 2018 in New York, New York.
