NW3C will send staff Jeff Lybarger to attend with David Lewis from BJA, and representatives from IIR and RISS to present at the NSA Winter Conference on the topic called, "For Smaller and Rural Sheriff Offices; How Do I Work "Free" Into My Budget". The presentation is described as, "The foundation of American law enforcement are agencies with 25 officers or less. These agencies have the same issues as the larger ones, especially when it comes to their operating budget.

The Center has provided financial support to invite a subject matter expert Dr. Stuart Wasser to present at the PA Association of Treatment Court Professionals 2023 Conference that took place October 11-13, 2023. Dr. Wasser delivered a presentation titled "The MOUD Prescriber Perspective: Facilitators and Barriers to Induction". This session provided a brief overview of the major medications commonly used in the treatment of opioid use disorder. The efficacy of MAT and current best practices were discussed.

The Center worked with the New Hampshire's judiciary to support the 2023 NH Annual Treatment Court Conference that took place on September 20-21, 2023 in Bartlett, New Hampshire. The Center has provided financial support to invite a subject matter expert Dr. Brian Meyer to deliver 3 presentations titled "What’s Under the Hood? The Psychology of the Treatment Court", "Complicated Relationship between Domestic Violence and Substance Abuse", and "What’s New in PTSD Treatment".

The Center worked with the Georgia's Council of Accountability Court Judges (CACJ) to support the 2023 CACJ Annual Training Conference between September 10-13, 2023 in Athens, Georgia. The Center has provided financial support to invite a subject matter expert Captain Brian Kenney with the Nashua, New Hampshire Police Department to presented on a requested topic.

On October 11, 2023, we presented during the From Jail to Home: The Case For Supportive Housing Impact of Frequent User Service Enhancement (FUSE) and Scaling for the Future symposium in a panel session called “Centering Data in Decision Making.” The session featured the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the author of a study on the impact of FUSE, and sites in New Jersey and New York.
