The first quarterly statewide coordinators meeting of 2019 occurred on April 4-5, 2019 at the Center's office in New York City. Center staff planned a full two-day roundtable with topics including program fidelity; incentives and sanctions; equity and inclusion toolkits; and more. These speakers include drug court expert Shannon Carey of NPC Research, Carolyn Hardin of NADCP, and Theresa Lemus of Children and Family Futures. The workshop included several presentations, T/TA provider updates, and an open forum roundtable discussion.

CSG Justice Center staff conducted a site visit to the Bronx mental health court, where technical assistance (TA) providers observed staffing and docket for Bronx Mental Health Court, reviewed plans for data collection and program evaluation and how data can inform potential program modifications, and also held a housing discussion.

Center staff will coordinate with the Arkansas Judiciary, Administrative Office of the Courts to develop and enhance drug courts statewide pursuant to their 2017 and 2018 BJA-funded grants. This work will include teleconference calls, emails, and possible on-site visits.
