• During this reporting period, monthly conference calls continued to be held with Urban Institute, BJA, and IIR staff members to discuss the progress of the project and to answer questions.

The 1.5 day, hybrid convening highlighted how OFRs are identifying and implementing recommendations to prevent substance related deaths in communities across the country. The forum offered a mix of general interest plenary sessions, moderated panel discussions, breakout sessions, and informal networking. 896 registered for the forum and 645 attended.
This half-day, in-person convening for state agency staff (up to 3 per state) equipped state agencies to support OFR initiatives throughout state and local jurisdictions. This workshop includes cross-state agency collaborations, site assessment, work group sessions and presentations. The pre-conference was attended by state agency personnel at all levels of expertise and engagement in the OFR process.
The Overdose Detection Mapping Application Program (ODMAP) and Tribal Responses to Drug Overdoses (TRDO) demonstration projects, two Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and Substance Abuse Program (COSSAP) initiatives designed to help eight states and four tribal areas adopt ODMAP—a free mobile tool that tracks the locations of suspected overdoses and shares data across jurisdictions—convened their final meeting in January 2023.
The first of the bi-annual RxCheck Governance Board meetings was held virtually on March 9, 2023. Thirty-three of the thirty-eight member PDMPs were in attendance, The agenda sessions at the meeting included:

The PDMP TTAC team routinely provides technical assistance to stakeholders in response to requests for information or to facilitate peer-to-peer communication. These activities help identify potential resources and TTA needs as PDMPs evolve, allowing the PDMP TTAC team to proactively develop and provide the most efficient and effective methods of delivery.
The PDMP TTAC team regularly coordinates conference calls for PDMP administrators to connect and discuss issues, such as system enhancements, technical assistance, and promising practices. Below is a listing of some of the conference call that PDMP TTAC staff members facilitated and participated:
