In preparation for Restorative Justice Month in November, the National Center on Restorative Justice (NCORJ) convened a special meeting titled "Communicating Our Successes and Amplifying Each Other." This dialogue was an opportunity for Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) restorative justice grantees to come together and discuss effective ways to communicate the impactful work happening in our communities and how we can amplify each other. The conversation was be facilitated by DeMointé Wesley, who leads communication efforts for the NCORJ.

NCORJ is hosting a webinar series that highlights restorative justice work in different geographic regions across the United States. Attendees are invited to listen and learn about different implementation models from restorative justice practitioners, researchers, community-based organizations, and system actors.

Webinar introduced the newly launched Restorative Justice Laws Database from the National Center on Restorative Justice. Attendees was introduced to the functionality of the database and how they can use it to learn more about examples of restorative justice policy from around the United States. A range of relevant policy features will be highlighted.

NCORJ 90-minute webinar session offers participants an understanding of restorative justice application as a resolution for Title IX violations and sexual harm. The webinar is intended for justice system actors and others looking to learn more about restorative justice and best practices for incorporating them into higher education and other systems that offer alternative responses to investigation/adjudication models.

We attract leaders from across the country, uniting under the goal of making the lives of Black men and boys and their families safe, healthy, and hopeful. Our three days together are full of learning, sharing, growing, and collaborating.

Funded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), the National Center on Restorative Justice (NCORJ), in partnership with the Center for Justice Innovation (CJI), is offering a three-day in-person training opportunity (delivered at recipients’ location) to criminal justice agencies seeking to deepen their understanding of restorative justice. The goal is to educate and train the current and next generation of criminal justice leaders in restorative justice approaches. This was an informational webinar about this opportunity.
