This training is offered through the VALOR program; BJA NTTAC connected the NJSPB to the Valor program as a referral.

The Jackson, Mississippi Police Department (PD), as part of the Jackson PSP site, requested assistance with assessing and resolving crime reporting inaccuracies and building its crime analytics capacity for police operations. BJA NTTAC provided funding support for Jessica Herbert to provide a comprehensive review of Jackson PD’s current crime analysis capabilities and make recommendations for expanding its crime analytics capacity.

The Memphis, Tennessee Police Department, as part of the Memphis National Public Safety Partnership (PSP) site, requested assistance in producing strategic plans, as well as evaluating current practices, regarding efficiently and effectively investigate violent crime in Memphis. The request was transferred to a new contract.

The Loudoun County, Virginia Sheriff's Department requested assistance through BJA NTTAC to fund and support to host the program - Insight Policing. ​CENTER FOR APPLIED INSIGHT CONFLICT RESOLUTION was selected to facilitate the assistance and conducted a three day onsite visit with the agency in July 2019. Megan Price hosted training events Insight Policing: Core Skills, a 2-day class, to be followed by a 1-day advanced skills workshop for 32 deputies from each of the following units: patrol, courts, schools and corrections.

The Whittier, California Police Department requested a crime analysis assessment. OnPoint Analytics was selected as the provider for this engagements and assisted Whittier PD with establishing a crime analysis unit by assessing their analytical needs, evaluating the training needs of the newly hired crime analyst, identifying technical gaps, and providing analytical strategies to reduce crime and improve quality of life for Whittier and Santa Fe Springs residents.

John Colello was selected to fulfill the request and provided an eight-hour "Non-Fatal Shooting Best Practices Training presentation to Knoxville PD detectives on March 18, 2019 in Knoxville, Tennesee.
