This webinar will introduce students to fundamental concepts of Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) collection, organization, and analysis working within cryptocurrency investigations. The session will cover ethical and legal considerations, best practices for gathering and storing data, and techniques for evaluating source credibility and detecting bias. Students will learn how to properly cite sources, maintain data integrity, and use OSINT tools effectively.

As a member of IPAC, NW3C will send two staff, Jeff Lybarger and Glen Gainer, to attend the IPAC Meeting. They will engage in discussions on helping to ensure that training and standards meet the needs of the Public Safety industry, promoting the adoption of best practices, and providing IADLEST with perspectives and recommendations regarding selected IADLEST projects and initiatives.

The National Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO) Resource Center (ERC) invites you to the 2025 National ERPO Roundtable taking place on January 15th-16th, 2025, in Washington, D.C.

The Johns Hopkins Center for Gun Violence Solutions, in partnership with the Office of Justice Programs’ Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), established the National ERPO Resource Center (ERC) in 2023. The ERC is a training and technical assistance (TTA) hub designed to support states and localities with the implementation of their ERPO programs to reduce gun violence and save lives.
