Assessing, documenting, and evaluating artificial intelligence (AI) integrations with BWC as it plays a role in tagging videos, creating transcripts, developing drafts of reports, assessing officer performance and enhancing digital evidence management.
As part of project, JSS works with micro-grantees to receive request for funds based on invoices for BWCs and supports. JSS reviews the materials for accuracy and completeness, work with the micro-grantee to resolve questions and processes the payments.

Provide support for those micro-grantees with questions and follow ups about monthly reporting of progress.
Through this activity, JSS supports the micro-grantees to develop a comprehensive body worn camera program with the use of federal funds. JSS ensures that all requirements and regulations are adhered to and that the program is comprehensive in nature.

July 1-July 31, 2024, Monthly Activity; During this reporting period, there were approximately 5 emails and other announcements, that were sent out to the grantee. Included in the emails were resources regarding training announcements, and other relevant resources including webinar materials, and resources from webinars.
Some emails included project partner FVTC regarding requested resources around assessment, risk assessments and other tools around reentry, including policies and procedures, training available for reentry coordinators and forms.

Some emails included project partner NAICJA regarding 4 resources on safety planning and protests. Many of the resources were shared via constant contact.
