This webinar is part of a series highlighting restorative justice applications in different regions across the United States. This session focuses on Restorative Justice in the South and features community-based organizations and practitioners committed to implementing restorative approaches that promote accountability and healing within communities and function alongside or outside the criminal legal system. Presenters will share recommendations for implementing restorative justice based on their experience.

This symposium brought together scholars and educators with experience related to the integration restorative justice into law school curriculum and culture and explored the prevalence and impact of restorative justice education in law schools. Papers from the symposium will be published in an upcoming special issue of The Journal of Legal Education on restorative justice.

BPD requested TTA for resources related to trauma-informed follow-up after critical incidents. This asked stemmed from an operation that resulted in the arrest of over 40 people with ties to a violent gang operating out of an apartment building.
