Draft TTA action plan based on assessment results and introductory meetings
Cities United's Annual Convening is the gathering place for all of us working to affect the lives of those most impacted by gun violence. We attract leaders from across the country, uniting under the goal of making the lives of Black men and boys and their families safe, healthy, and hopeful. Our three days together are full of learning, sharing, growing, and collaborating.
Harvard University hosted 13 leaders from PSP agencies for its eighth annual summit to discuss emerging trends and topics in the criminal justice arena. These chiefs and other senior-level public safety executives had the opportunity to network, share ideas, and learn how to effectively lead their agencies to improve their organizational performance.
The Rochester, New York, Police Department (RPD) and the Chattanooga, Tennessee, Police Department (CPD) sent seven representatives to meet with the Denver Police Department (DPD) Firearm Assault Shoot Team (FAST). FAST provided an in-depth presentation on the concept, the training process for detectives, the models and protocols, and lessons learned. The RPD and CPD then met with the CGIC Unit, Digital Evidence Team, and NIBIN team.
Convene in person grantee meeting to bring sites together to share their ongoing progress, identify and discuss challenges, and share successes to date. Expected to occur in the Spring of 2025 at RTI Headquarters in Raleigh/Durham NC
