Improve your safety on the road. Attend this no-cost, eight-hour course to discuss best practices and tactics to improve your safety during traffic stops, emergency response driving, all-weather driving, and roadway operations while outside your vehicle.
Obtained a booth at the IACP Conference to provide information about the VALOR programs and presented two VALOR presentations. The presentations were How to obtain Financial Fitness and Avoiding the X? Staff also attended to provide information on the programs, gain critical partnerships and identification of future needs.

This is a 20 week virtual academy that prepares new probation, corrections and reentry professionals to work with correctional clients.
Tribal Community Corrections & Re-Entry Program
9/25: Call with Dr. Nicole Swiderski (Research Scientist, NJSPB) to update CSG Justice Center team on OIT progress and propose an on-site meeting to accelerate the project. 9/27: Call with Dr. Nicole Swiderski (Research Scientist, NJSPB) to debrief about NJSPB agency meeting and discuss IT limitations, case management system updates, and staff changes. 11/9/23: Video call with Paul Martin (Support Services Administrator, WYDOC) todiscuss the pitch for the project and receive the go-ahead to discuss the project with awider range of DOC leaders and staff.
12/13/2023: Interview with Heather Meredith (Probation and Parole Supervisor, Bowling Green Probation and Parole Office) to discuss trends they are seeing in domestic violence. (1 person representing 1 agency). Â
12/8/23: Meeting with Lisa Madden (CEO of Riverbend CMHC, President of NH CMHC Association) to provide a project update and discuss the WG.
12/8/23: Meeting with Helen Hanks (Commissioner, NH DOC) and Keith Johnson (System Development Specialist VI, Department of Corrections) to discuss the DOC data analysis.
