CSG Justice Center staff attended the Fair and Just Prosecution Annual Convening in Tucson and participated in a panel presentation about how prosecutors can holistically address behavioral health needs in the community. CSG Justice Center staff also discussed the Propelling Change: Prosecutor Call to Action project and used hypothetical case study examples to discuss diversion options for people with behavioral health needs.

A representative from the CSG Justice Center presented at the CIT International Conference along with a representative from Denver 9-1-1. The title of the presentation was "Sending Civilian Responders to 9-1-1 Calls". The importance of sending specialized responses to behavioral health calls for service was discussed. The presentation also highlighted the success of the Denver learning site. The call triage protocols for the STAR Program were discussed, and the presenters answered questions from the audience.

The Knowledge Lab participated in a panel at the BJA Violent Crime Reduction Panel on December 11, 2023. The session began with a presentation from the Northern District of Georgia about their Violent Repeat Offender (VRO) program, which was developed a decade ago. The presentation was followed by a moderated discussion about implementing focused deterrence models to ensure the integration of constitutional policing practices.
