Due to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center - RVCRI partnership, Sgt. Avery Cowardin was able to attend the May 2025 DHS Leadership Academy, which is a two-week long leadership course for individuals in a command authority position or could assume command authority. The training includes segments on leadership challenges, adaptive leadership, leading through a crisis, navigating the seven c's of leadership, wellness in law enforcement, servant leadership, and a capstone group project.

TLPI's Tribal Justice TTA Project includes Objective 3 to provide and support general training on- and offsite with Task 3.4: Offer up to 5 scholarships to jurisdictions planning new treatment courts to support attendance at TLPI's annual THWC Enhancement Training. Three people were supported for the 2024 Implementation and Enhancement Training: Pine Ridge Transitional Living Program Director, Ute Tribal Public Defender, and Blackfeet Veterans Alliance Administrator.

In September 2024, the Lab supported representatives from the Knoxville Police Department to attend the Annual Problem-Oriented Policing Conference held in Baltimore, Maryland.

On October 17–19, 2024, a member of the SLATT team attended the Association of State Criminal Investigative Agencies (ASCIA) Fall Conference, hosted in Boston, Massachusetts. Approximately 200 ASCIA members attended the event and were provided with SLATT Program information, including half cards and a QR code that linked to the SLATT website and SLATT resources. In addition, on October 19–22, 2024, members of the SLATT team attended the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Annual Conference, also hosted in Boston, Massachusetts.

To support outreach and engagement IIR staff attended the 2024 I Love U Guys' Briefings: National School Safety Symposium in San Mateo, California, from November 7–8, 2024.

In order to enhance outreach and engagement efforts, an IIR staff member participated in the National Public Safety Partnership's 10th Anniversary Summit on December 9-10. During this event, IIR displayed a table to disseminate information about IIR resources.

NW3C to send staff Jim Emerson, Glen Gainer, Jeff Lybarger, Bill Williams, Michelle Kreps, Laura Cook, Jeff Prader, Jason Webber, and Lori Petro to exhibit and attend sessions at the conference in order to communicate the BJA/NW3C educational resources, and to collect new best practices to incorporate into educational resources.
