During this rating period, PDMP TTAC participated in three national events.

• Rx and Illicit Drug Summit – Atlanta, GA April 1-4, 2024. PDMP TTAC coordinated presentations with select PDMP Administrators on “Practical Application of Academic Detailing for PDMPs”.
• IJIS Community Forum – attended virtually, April 3, 2024. PDMP TTAC presented an overview of PDMPs and data sharing during a plenary session titled “The Need for Improving Justice to Health Data Sharing”

The PDMP TTAC team has been involved with BJA’s GrantStat Program in previous years, and, utilizing the GrantStat measurements, identified PDMPs in need of specialized technical assistance. However, BJA did not request the PDMP TTAC team’s participation in the GrantStat Program during this reporting period. The PDMP TTAC team will fully participate in GrantStat upon request and will take whatever action is deemed appropriate by BJA to assist grantees in meeting performance and deliverable requirements.

BJA leadership did not request that PDMP TTAC staff members review progress reports during this reporting period, nor have the reports been made available for review. When the reports are provided, PDMP TTAC staff members will review them to identify common grantee needs and use the information gathered to develop a more effective TTA delivery strategy. In the meantime, the PDMP TTAC staff continually draws on its relationships and experiences with PDMPs to identify new technical assistance delivery strategies.

Part of the technical assistance that the PDMP TTAC team has provided to PDMPs over the years has been assistance with grantee data collection and reporting requirements for BJA performance measures. PDMP TTAC staff members assisted the Northern Mariana Islands PDMP by explaining the appropriate method to report their instances of providing training on system use. The PDMP TTAC team also worked with BJA to revise and streamline the performance measurement form and metrics.

The PDMP TTAC team regularly coordinates conference calls for PDMP administrators to connect and discuss issues such as system enhancements, technical assistance, and promising practices. PDMP TTAC staff members facilitated and participated on the following conference calls during this reporting period:

During this reporting period, PDMP TTAC and BJA leadership hosted and facilitated a PDMP grantee orientation webinar on May 23, 2024, with 46 attendees representing 12 of the 21 grant recipients. This webinar was delivered and reported under Award Number 2019-PM-BX-K004

During this reporting period, PDMP TTAC staff members drafted and submitted the following articles for publication in the Catching Up With COSSAP newsletter:

During this reporting period, the PDMP TTAC team facilitated the following webinars: “ASAP Updates for PDMP Administrators” (January 2024), “An Update to VHA’s PDMP Reporting: Current and Future Perspectives” (March 2024), and “New Jersey PMP’s Data Analytics Program” (June 2024).

The PDMP TTAC team hosts and facilitates monthly conference calls with the RxCheck Governance Board. As mentioned in Deliverable 5, PDMP TTAC no longer provides support to the PMIX Standards Organization or its subcommittees. During this reporting period, the PDMP TTAC team hosted and facilitated 32 calls with the RxCheck Governance Board, work groups, and groups interested in connecting to the RxCheck Hub.
