Center staff organized and hosted a structured virtual site visit to Midtown Community Court for the prosecutor at the Albany Works! Community Court from Albany, Georgia. The site visit included an overview of the court's history and operations as well as a discussion of the role of a prosecutor in a community court

On July 25-28, 2022, The National Association of Drug Court Professionals (NADCP) held its annual training conference in Nashville, Tennessee. Center staff provided five presentations at the conference.

Center staff Kelly Van Develde, Senior Program Manager, delivered a presentation entitled "Introducing the Brand New Drug Court Certification Toolkit." Ms. van Develde presented alongside statewide treatment court coordinators Taylor Jones of Georgia and Scott Ronan of Idaho.

In collaboration with the Resource basked held (4) Planning Meetings to locate venue, recruit presenters/trainers and secure dates meetings were held: June 9, 2022, June 16, 2022, June 23, 2022, June 30, 2022 on Teams Topic will be to have three (3) presenters from a youth Tribal Court Track and three (3) presenters from the adult Tribal Court Track. To include group sessions and opportunities for breakout sessions as well on the different ways circles are utilized in Alaska Communities and could be utilized or enhanced in tribal courts.

Proposed Activity: NAICJA proposes to conduct a two-day Holistic Defense Roundtable Conference with two (2) proposed sessions outlined below.
Requirement: National Roundtable with (up to 40 attendees) to define and discuss holistic defense elements for tribal settings and identify coordination points that connect national holistic defense efforts. The Roundtable Conference will be held in the Western U.S. to accommodate attendees. (BJA 2018 TCCLA Solicitation, Page 12.)

On February 3, 2022, Center staff Medina Henry, Natalie Reyes, Lindsey Price Jackson delivered a presentation to administrative staff in Puerto Rico that provided an overview of the community court model that included key principles, models, and types of populations served by community courts.

On May 18, 2022, Center staff Natalie Reyes and Lindsey Price Jackson delivered a presentation to multidisciplinary stakeholders from the Association of Justice and Treatment Professionals and the International Association of Treatment Court Professionals entitled, "Community Courts, the Why, the How, the Impacts." Criminal behavior can adversely affect the community in which it occurs.

On June 14, Center staff organized and hosted an in-person site visit to Newark Community Solutions (NCS) for Candy Cooper, author. The site visit included an observation of the Youth Impact Network for research on her book about best and worst practices in juvenile justice.
