During the month of April 2023, the SLATT team coordinated with four (4) agencies requesting training and technical assistance, as follows:
• The Judicial Conference of Ohio/Supreme Court of Ohio expressed interest in a SLATT Sovereign Citizens presentation during its annual conference, scheduled for September 2023. More than 400 judges and justices are expected to attend the conference.
On April 19, 2023, members of the SLATT team met with members of program partner the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START) at their headquarters on the campus of the University of Maryland. The purpose of the in-person meeting was to identify potential areas for collaboration, to include instructional design support, development of issue briefs and publications, and support to future webinars.
During the month of April 2023, the newly implemented process for creating SLATT accounts resulted in the creation of 59 new user accounts.
The SLATT monthly partner planning meeting was held on April 6, 2023 (at 2-2:30 pm ET). Monthly meetings are convened to discuss current initiatives and progress toward completing SLATT tasks.
The SLATT team addressed approximately 13 inquiries received from users submitting questions or requests using the “Contact Us” button on the slatt.org website. Inquiries related to SLATT training, resources, webinars, publications, login issues, website access, and general questions.

On March 8, 2023, the SLATT team hosted a subject matter expert (SME) working session meeting that was attended by the BJA senior policy advisor, all members of the IIR SLATT team, and 12 of the 14 SLATT SMEs. The meeting convened and introduced new members of the SLATT team and SME cadre, and provided an overview of current SLATT deliverables, curriculum development and delivery, and opportunities to collaborate in furtherance of the SLATT Program.
