Site coordinator requested connection with other SAKI sites who have applied for PA5 Sustainability funding. Site is interested in applying for this PA in the next cycle to help cement victim advocacy and site coordinator positions in sexual assault response. Site would like to speak with other SAKI sites to brainstorm ideas of what sustainability measures to include in their potential proposal.

SAKI TTA received a message from a sexual assault survivor's mother who agreed and gave permission to share contact information, hoping to obtain more information about their case. Site Liaison, Kathryn, passed this message along to Site Coordinator, Sam Morse.

TTA services will include:
o Strategic planning designed to encourage the use of participatory defense methods and principles in the region.
o Increase community knowledge and understanding of relevant procedural and constitutional rights to ensure those accused of criminal violations can effectively advocate for themselves and effectuate their Sixth Amendment right to participate in their defense.
o Enhance community and stakeholder understanding of participatory defense principles through the use of surveying, education, and resource development.

Christina reached out requesting contact information for the victim advocate for the North Carolina SAKI site as one of their victims is currently living in North Carolina.
