This was a required kickoff webinar for awardees of the FY23 Improving Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Outcomes for Adults in Reentry program. The webinar provided orientation information and insights about the grant track and deliverables. BJA and CSG Justice Center staff explained the training and technical assistance opportunities and resources available, and grantees had an opportunity to meet one another. There was also a question-and-answer period.

Bureau of Justice Assistance and CSG Justice Center representatives explained the training and technical assistance opportunities and resources available to awardees, and awardees were given an opportunity to meet their peers. There was also a question-and-answer period.

This learning community session introduced grantees to a range of outcomes-based contracting methods from peer sites and CSG staff. Grantees met in small groups to gain familiarity with their peers and discuss foundational questions relevant to their pay for success project. Participants also gained familiarity with deliverable planning guides developed by the CSG Justice Center team to develop their initial deliverables, data collection, and selection of metrics. Both new and current grantees had an opportunity to engage in meaningful discussion around their project.

The NDCAC is a national center established under the Department of Justice designed to help facilitate technical knowledge management, to foster the sharing of solutions and know-how among law enforcement agencies. Their mission is to strengthen law enforcements relationships with the communications industry, leverage/share the collective technical knowledge and resources of the law enforcement community, and address challenges posed to law enforcement by advanced communications services and technologies. This one-hour webinar will introduce you to the many resources available through the NDCAC to include technical solutions, training, investigative tools (social media search warrant parsers and open-source searches), and analytics.

This National Cased Closed webinar is designed to identify and reinforce fundamental principles and best practices, including aspects of fatal and non-fatal shooting investigations that are often overlooked or not properly documented.

This workshop provided insight into the benefits of clinical oversight for peer support teams. The Presentation was given at the IACP 2024 Officer Safety and Wellness conference in Louisville, KY. The Presentation discussed how oversight can be achieved for law enforcement agency.
