The Students, Teachers, Officers Preventing (STOP) School Violence Grant Program is designed to improve K-12 school security by providing students and teachers with the tools they need to recognize, respond quickly to, and help prevent acts of violence and ensure a positive school climate. The STOP School Violence Act of 2018 gave the Department of Justice the authority to provide awards to grantees to implement evidence-based school safety programs and technology. These awards are provided through the BJA, COPS Office, and OJJDP.

This webinar highlights the Missing Migrant Program, exploring how USBP strives to prevent migrant disappearances and deaths, assists with locating missing persons and identifying human remains, and collaborates with various agencies and organizations to support investigators and provide answers to families of the missing.

The second session focused on the nuts and bolts of data collection and sharing, including the features of good data sharing, what data collection should include, and logic models.
